Ange & Steve's Surprise Party

Linda and I conspired for a few weeks to organise a surprise party for her husband Steve and for Ange, as they have their birthday on the same day. We picked them up in a stretch limo and drove around drinking champagne and singing karaoke for an hour or so.

Melbourne Pride March 2008

We went out as usual to support Pride March and cheer on the parade. It seemed smaller this year, although there was a good crowd watching.
As usual, the parade was started by the Dykes on Bikes.
The Victorian Gay & Lesbian Rights Lobby - a small group of very dedicated people who do a lot of good work.

How different my life could have been if I went to a school like this:

I know it was probably just hormones, but these two next groups following one after another literally brought a tear to my eye! Especially the father with his gay son carrying a sign "proud Dad". Love makes a family!
